Positive: We booked at the last minute, and we had a lovely room with a huge balcony patio shared and divided with another room. There was an amazing amount of storage, both drawers and hanging space for two people. We had a bathtub too. The shower pressure was very good as was the hot water. We stayed here as some friends were staying here. The food was OK for a couple of days. It is run by a chain, and so there is a certain standard that is very acceptable to travelers from USA. The location is good, and it is an easy busy ride to Taormina.

Negative: Everything was fine for the star grade. A lot of tours and groups come here and I think a lot of the waiters are tired in October after a busy summer.

Positive: The room was a good size and the hotel was clean and tidy. The food was generally fine but a little repetitive.

Negative: The all inclusive drinks were very poor. None of the soft drinks were leading brands and most tasted flat. It would have been much better to have somebody pour you a fresh drink in an actual glass than to always have to pour your own into tiny paper cups. The music around the pool was exceptionally loud which led us to spend most days on the beach. It would have been better to have had more outside seating for the evening as this was very small. The restaurant was ok but could have been brighter and more modern.

Summary: It was what we expected for the price we paid.
